RV Education 101 Releases Special Edition Publication on RV Quality

Harrells, NC – November 2018 -- RV Education 101, a video and RV consumer information company today released a special edition PDF publication titled, RV Quality Questioned

The RV industry is enjoying a boom in sales, but faces some difficult challenges ahead as more and more RVs are manufactured and sold. There is a shortage of certified RV technicians, long waiting periods for service and repair work and there are questions about the quality of some RVs manufactured today.

Mark Polk, founder of the long-standing RV Education 101 video training series stated, “I selected “RV quality” as the topic for this special edition publication because quality is important to every RV owner. I am in a unique position to write about RV quality. I sold RVs, I was an RV sales manager for many years, and I have owned, used, inspected and repaired RVs for most of my adult life. My goal with this publication wasn’t to simply say RV quality is good or bad and leave it at that. My goal was to take an unbiased look at RV quality and workmanship, try to highlight some causes for poor RV quality, talk about some misunderstandings, and look at some measures that might help improve RV quality.”

Online RV Video Training Program
Harrells, NC – February 2018 -- RV Education 101, a video and RV consumer information company recently launched an updated online RV training resource designed to assist in educating RV consumers, titled RV Online Training. Mark Polk, video producer and founder of the long standing RV Education 101 instructional video series said, “Our current line of RV training DVD’s  continues to remain strong, but we wanted to keep up with today's fast paced technology where innovative RV training methods are concerned and to be able to offer current and correct information.”

The Power of Online Video....
Polk went on to say, “Educating the RV consumer on how to properly and safely use their new RV has never been easier than right now! The power of online video has quickly become the primary source for disseminating information to the consumer. When you combine online video technology with the need for repetitive viewing for long term memory retention, the consumers desire to access the information instantly and the need for correct training with proper terminology and demonstration, it's easy to see why our program is the most effective  training method available today.”
Our latest RV 101® online video training courses can be viewed from computers, tablets, and smartphones. This unique training offers a choice of full-feature videos broken down into segments or ebooks. Both choices include related articles written by Polk, short video segments, helpful tips & tricks, fun play & learn RV University crossword puzzles, and quizzes to help the RV consumer retain the information.
The video training is generic, covering both motorized and towable RV information. Our most popular and the first creation of our video training pertains to an orientation demonstrating setting up and using your RV. It is formatted similarly to the walk-through class a dealer gives a customer prior to taking delivery of the unit. It consists of easy to understand charts and hands-on instruction covering the LP gas system, water system, wastewater system, electrical system, campground hook-ups, RV appliances and RV accessories. The video also includes a bonus chapter on RV safety features. We also offer numerous other subjects like towing, driving and winterizing.
Dawn Polk, in charge of marketing and sales for RV Education 101, and is also Mark Polk's wife, stated "Hopefully we can reach the consumer before they purchase an RV so after they watch our training videos, they will already be familiar with how the RV operates and will be able to ask more targeted questions during the actual walk-through orientation from the dealership or from a purchase of  a private individual." She went on to say "Even if they already own an RV, we will put them light years ahead of where they would be without our training. With the popularity of YouTube and being able to easily post videos, Mark and I have become highly concerned with some of the information that is being put out there. We see a lot of incorrect terminology and demonstration that could lead to serious problems."
It is our goal at RV Education 101 to assist RV owners and potential owners in learning how to properly and safely use and maintain an RV.  In our original and unique RV online training presentations we offer the most complete and easy to understand RV online training course on RVs available anywhere. You don't have to join a club and we assure you will never receive numerous unending emails. We will never rent or sell your information.

RV Education 101 Releases New RV 101 Blog for RV Enthusiasts

Wilmington, NC – July, 2017 - RV Education 101®, announced today a new RV 101 Blog site to help assist and educate RV owners and potential owners on how to safely and properly use and maintain RVs.

Mark Polk, co-owner stated, “We are happy to announce the launch on our new RV blog site, titled RV 101 with Mark Polk. Our goal with this blog is to make available qualified RV information to help RV owners learn about using and maintaining their RVs. I see things in some RV blogs and RV related videos that make me nervous. All too often folks buy an RV, spend six months on the road and start a blog or produce videos with erroneous and inaccurate information. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with starting a blog, but if you do and it is technical, the information presented in the blog or video should be accurate and qualified. Our core business model is RV 101® (new and beginning RVers), so our new blog will concentrate on articles and videos in four distinct categories: Beginning RVers, RV DIY® & Maintenance, RV Tips & Tricks and RV Products.”

The new RV 101 blog coincides with many other web sites and social media venues RV Education 101 offers with the goal of helping educate RV consumers.

Dawn Polk added, “We started our first blog “RVing with Mark Polk & Friends” in 2013. We did not really market and promote the blog or attempt to attract followers; it was simply a site where RV owners could go to learn more about their RVs. Today, on average that blog receives about 900 daily views. We get about 300 views from search engines, 300 from Pinterest and the remainder from Facebook and our other social media sites. The current blog format is established and it would be difficult to update or change the site, so our thoughts were to start fresh with a new blog site. We wanted the new RV 101 blog to be more appealing with rich photographs, informative videos and text to help illustrate each post. Our goal with this blog is to capture followers and continue to build the site with at least one new post weekly. It will be a win-win for everybody. Readers have access to valuable and informative RV content, and we have a venue to promote our RV training products to a targeted audience. We plan to participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, as an affiliate, to help offset the time and cost involved with hosting and maintaining the new RV 101 blog. This way when a certain product or installation process is discussed in a post we can offer suggestions about specific products to our readers. We encourage you to visit the new RV 101 blog and click on the follow button so you get notified every time a new post is added to the site.”

RV Education 101 Announces New RV101® YouTube Channel
Harrells, NC – February, 2016 - RV Education 101, founded in 1999 by Mark and Dawn Polk, announced today a new RV101® YouTube channel where RV owners and enthusiasts can go to learn more about how to use and maintain their RV.

Mark Polk, co-owner stated, “Our original RV Education 101® YouTube channel is alive and well with 5.7 million video views and nearly 21,000 subscribers. In hindsight when we started the channel in December 2006 we did not set things up exactly how we would like it to be. The plan is to continue adding quality RV content to our existing RV Education 101 YouTube channel, but establish a brand new RV101 channel. To launch the new site we added some of our popular video content, and moving forward we will post fresh new relevant RV content in an easy to navigate format.”

Polk explained that many of the older video productions on the existing channel were not filmed in high-definition, and in some cases it was challenging for viewers to find the information they are seeking. “Our goal with the new RV101 YouTube channel is to produce high quality RV videos, both in content and production in addition to organizing the site that is easy for viewers to navigate and search. To accomplish this we invested a great deal of time researching video analytics, Internet search terms, keywords and various statistics from our other sites. We built the RV101 YouTube channel around this information, and my many years of personal experience developing useful, quality RV content."

All video content posted on both YouTube channels is produced in-house by RV Education 101®. The video content includes short segments on RV how-to, RV DIY, RV maintenance, RV safety, RV tips and other topics of interest.

Dawn Polk, co-owner added, “To encourage RV owners and RV enthusiasts to subscribe to our new RV101 YouTube channel we are releasing at least one video per week for the entire year of 2016. Our subscribers will be notified every time a new video is posted to the site.  Our goal at RV Education 101 is simple; we want to make all of the RV owner’s experiences safe, fun and as stress-free as possible.”
